This Privacy Policy describes how weltekx-dev (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Notes Android application (the “App”). We are committed to being transparent about what data we collect and how we use it.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Notes and Documents

All notes, documents, sticky notes, and rich text content are stored locally on your device using a SQLite database. This data is never transmitted to any server.

2.2 Usage Analytics

The App uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data such as:

  • Screen views (which screens you open)
  • Session duration
  • Device type, Android version, and country (derived from IP)
  • App version and crash events

This data cannot be used to identify you personally. It helps us understand how the App is used and where to improve.

2.3 Crash Reports

Firebase Crashlytics automatically collects crash logs and stack traces when the App encounters an error. This data includes device model, OS version, and the sequence of events leading to the crash. Crash reports are anonymous and are used solely to fix bugs.

3. What We Do Not Collect

  • No personal information — we do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information.
  • No location data — the App does not access your GPS or precise location.
  • No contacts — the App does not access your contacts list.
  • No advertising ID — while the Firebase SDK includes the AD_ID permission, the App does not serve advertisements or use your advertising identifier for targeting.

Note: File import permissions are only requested when you choose to open a file. The App does not access your storage or media without your explicit action.

We use the limited data described above solely to:

  • Fix crashes and improve App stability
  • Understand aggregate usage patterns to guide development priorities
  • Ensure the App functions correctly across different devices and Android versions

6. Data Storage and Security

All notes, documents, and sticky notes are stored in a local SQLite database on your device and are never uploaded to any server. Analytics and crash data are processed by Google Firebase’s infrastructure, which adheres to industry-standard security practices. We do not operate any servers of our own.
